Exciting house progress this week.
Today: flooring and a retaining wall
We chose wood laminate for most of the house (except bathrooms and bedrooms). It was very difficult to pick something for so many areas of the house, and something that is so noticeable. Today, seeing it on the floor, I am very happy with the choice.
All our flooring is from Carpet World in Bismarck, ND.
Also today, the retaining wall. As luck would have it, when they excavated for the house, the ground on the west side just didn't slope right. So a cement retaining wall was in order to hold back the soil. I have big plans of vines and plants to hide it :) haha.
And to close our fabulous progress for today – a pretty little ditch sunflower.
